Allspring Income Opportunities Fund (EAD)

The Wells Fargo Income Opportunities Fund (NYSE American: EAD), the Wells Fargo Multi-Sector Income Fund (NYSE American: ERC), and the Wells Fargo Utilities and High Income Fund (NYSE American: ERH) have each announced a distribution.

Wells Fargo Asset Management (WFAM) today announced that the closed-end funds’ names are expected to change from “Wells Fargo” to “Allspring” on December 6, 2021. This date replaces the previously announced date of October 11, 2021. The Board of Trustees of the Wells Fargo Funds approved the closed-end fund name changes to include the name Allspring on July 15, 2021.

The Wells Fargo Income Opportunities Fund (NYSE American: EAD), the Wells Fargo Multi-Sector Income Fund (NYSE American: ERC), the Wells Fargo Utilities and High Income Fund (NYSE American: ERH), and the Wells Fargo Global Dividend Opportunity Fund (NYSE: EOD) have each announced a distribution.

In connection with the proposed sale by Wells Fargo & Company of Wells Fargo Asset Management (WFAM) to a holding company affiliated with private funds of GTCR LLC and Reverence Capital Partners, L.P. announced on February 23, 2021, shareholders of the Wells Fargo closed-end funds identified below (each, a “Fund” and, collectively, the “Funds”) were asked to approve new investment advisory and sub-advisory agreements for the Funds at special meetings of shareholders held on August 16, 2021 (collectively, the “Meetings”). At the Meetings, shareholders of the below-listed Funds approved the applicable new investment advisory and sub-advisory agreements:

Wells Fargo Asset Management (WFAM) today announced that following approval by the Board of Trustees of the Wells Fargo Funds on July 15, 2021, the WFAM closed-end funds will change their names to include the name Allspring. The name change is expected to go into effect on October 11, 2021.

The Wells Fargo Income Opportunities Fund (NYSE American: EAD), the Wells Fargo Multi-Sector Income Fund (NYSE American: ERC), and the Wells Fargo Utilities and High Income Fund (NYSE American: ERH) have each announced a distribution.

Wells Fargo Asset Management (WFAM) today announced that the Wells Fargo Income Opportunities Fund (NYSE American: EAD), Wells Fargo Multi-Sector Income Fund (NYSE American: ERC), Wells Fargo Utilities and High Income Fund (NYSE American: ERH), and Wells Fargo Global Dividend Opportunity Fund (NYSE: EOD), (collectively, the “Funds”), announced a change of date of the previously announced Special Meeting of Shareholders (the “Meeting”) from July 15, 2021, to August 16, 2021. Shareholders of record of each fund at the close of business on May 28, 2021, are entitled to vote at the Meeting.
