Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits Appoints Stephanie Silvestre to Senior Vice President, Supply Chain & Operations Strategy

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits (Southern Glazer's)—the world’s preeminent distributor of beverage alcohol—today announced that it has appointed Stephanie Silvestre to the role of Senior Vice President, Supply Chain & Operations Strategy, effective July 1, 2022.

Ms. Silvestre, who will report to Bobby Burg, Senior Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer, will lead Southern Glazer’s newly launched Supply Chain & Operations transformational vision and strategy. This 10-year digital transformation was developed to modernize the supply chain and operations space for Southern Glazer’s and the industry as a whole. Ms. Silvestre will manage the deployment of a fully integrated and streamlined supply chain to provide world-class capabilities for customer and supplier partners with an emphasis on sustainability and value creation.

Ms. Silvestre began her career with Southern Glazer’s in 2011 and served as Senior Vice President, Supply Chain in her most recent role. Prior to joining Southern Glazer’s, Ms. Silvestre worked for General Electric for five years. She is also an inaugural member of Southern Glazer’s Exceptional Leadership Program, the Company’s flagship leadership development program.

Succeeding Ms. Silvestre as Vice President, Supply Chain and reporting to Bobby Burg will be Drew Vermilion, effective July 1, 2022. Mr. Vermilion joined Southern Glazer’s in 2005 and served as Vice President, Replenishment, Logistics and Analytics in his most recent role. During his 17-year career with Southern Glazer’s, Mr. Vermilion has been a leader in driving efficiencies and process improvements to the supply chain.
